Several weeks ago, I posted a silly little message on Twitter/FB about being thankful for having Spaghetti in the crock-pot, bread in the bread machine, dirty clothes in the washsing machine, and dishes cleaning in the dishwasher. I didn’t think a thing about making spaghetti in the crock pot… I rarely make it any other way…until I heard back from friends wanting the recipe. I promised that when I could, I’d post it to my blog. Hope you enjoy… It truly is easy, delicious, and quick for a busy night.
- 1 lb ground beef, cooked with onions and garlic. (Often, I used dried minced onions and garlic from a jar)
Place cooked and drained beef in the crock pot. Add the following ingredients:
- 2 large cans of Hunt’s Spaghetti Sauce. (We like all flavors. I usually mix two.)
- 1 can of Diced Tomatoes.
- 1 can of Tomato Paste
- 1 Tbs dried Parsley flakes
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- A dash each of Salt, Pepper, and Sugar
Turn on the crock pot and let it sit and simmer for as long as you need. When you are ready, cook the noodles your way, and serve the sauce over them.
Quick, easy, and delicious! Just the way I like it. 🙂 Hope you enjoy!
PS: This recipe is linked to Quit Eating Out’s Saturday Swap. Kim’s blog is awesome… you should check it out for more great ideas!

I love Hunts sauce in a can. It's like the cheapest secret at the grocery store. 🙂 And we usually get garlic something or other. I will have to try this sometime when I'm cooking for a crowd. Sounds easy and fast!

I had the same question as Kim. This sounds like a great way to make your own sauce. Love it! Hope you are well today Friend and that your internet access will be soon be fully on! 🙂

One ? though…no noodles? Or, do you make this in the crockpot, cook noodles and serve? 🙂

I just took some ground turkey out of the freezer when I saw your post title. I make turkey meatballs and put them in the crockpot with sauce.
Thanks for today's dinner inspiration. I had forgotten about the turkey!

I am DEFINITELY going to try that sister! I am a crockpot maniac! (in fact, requested a new one for Christmas because I've worn my other one out!) Never thought to do spaghetti though!!! Praying you and yours have a WONDERFUL Christmas filled with the presence of Christ!
In Him,
