If e-book purchasing is new to you, this is how it works:
The book is available in three forms:
PDF version (for those who want to download it to a computer to read)
Epub version (for those who want to download it into any reader – Nook, Kindle, Sony, i-pad, etc. The book is for sale on all major reader and e-publishing websites.)
Kindle version (for those who want it specifically formatted for their Kindles. The button links specifically to Amazon.com.)
Important to know (for my dear reader friends who have admitted to not being too tech-savvy): When you click on the version you wish to purchase on www.ChristASChristmas.com, you will be directed either to the Amazon or Barnes and Noble site or to the book page on a website called Smashwords.
The Epub and PDF versions are only available through Smashwords. To buy the Epub or PDF, you’ll need to “join” Smashwords with your info. It is a completely safe and trustworthy site (just as are Amazon and Barnes and Noble). You’ll enter your e-mail address, then you’ll need to create a “screen name”. {Don’t be scared. Choose a name unique to you. For example: JenniferSmellingCoffeeWalker. Or MaryGrandmaElla. Be sure to write the name down so you won’t forget it.} Next, you’ll need to create and enter a password, and enter your name. You’ll then mark if you are over 18, and how you heard about Smashwords. They will send you a confirmation e-mail. So, check your e-mail, click the link, and you’re set to shop. [I am so sorry that it is a “process”… but that’s the way it is. I’m praying for every technically challenged friend to be able to sail smoothly through this step!]
Once you are signed in and on the book page, scroll to the bottom of this page, and it will show you all of the versions you now own (btw, you now own all of them). Once you buy the book, you can download it into as many different readers or versions that you need. You can keep coming back to this page to download it again and again. Once you buy it, it is yours, and you won’t be charged for it ever again.
I know you’ll be honest and not download it for anyone other than yourselves. 😉
If you want to give a copy to a friend, family, or as a give away, that would be such a blessing! Through Amazon and Barnes and Noble, you can buy the book as a gift. I’m still working on a way to be able to purchase the book via PDF and Epub versions for someone else. I’ll let you know as soon as I figure that out.
