This is a great compilation of some pictures from last week’s flood… I can hardly believe that this is my town, and this happened to people I personally know. Please continue to pray for Nashville and the other areas affected and the people that are living through this. Our city and people have pulled together to help each other in an amazing way!
This picture gave me a little chuckle… along with a friendly reminder!
Ha ha! Happy Monday, friends! 🙂

My heart aches for them, I cant imagine the heartache. When I get a little water in my undercrawl under the house I will not get upset again, at least i have a pump I can turn on. Its nothing at all now, these people have lost everything and lives too. My prayers are with them and their families.

My heart breaks for the people of Nashville… I still cannot believe how glossed over this tragedy has been. My prayers continue! I kept thinking of John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
The Beatles song "Here Comes the Son" was beautiful – because even through the pictures of devastation… there is hope and yes, the sun will shine and yes the SON has overcome the world!
Love you!

Thank you for the up close look at Nashville; unbelievable! Much prayer needed.
Loved the funny. I don't text and drive. 🙂
love you,
Debbie
PS. I am going up to the mountains north of Phoenix with Sassy Granny tomorrow. I can't wait. We'll be meeting Mary of Pile of Smiles for lunch. Wish you lived closer. I was hoping for your new church to be in my neck of the woods but of course I really want you to be where the Lord has called you. 🙂

Good Monday morning, friend. I hope that you had a beautiful Mother's Day! Super cute bumper sticker – although said stickers are strictly forbidden at our house:)
Just saw the recipe for graduation caps – just love it! You know, my sweet Tyler would be graduating in two weeks. His best friend is like a son to me and I am doing my best to be involved with all the activities. Maybe I could make some caps??:) Too cute.
Have a great week – praying that the sun shines all week.

It is hard to comprehend such devastation. Sometimes disaster brings out the best in people, it would seem that has happened here.

Oh Jennifer! These pictures are heart-wrenching, girl! I have been thinking about other disasters that were all over the news and wondering why we havn't been hearing more about yours in TN…I guess because you all have gone quietly about helping each other out instead of waiting for the government to swoop in to save you, it is not newsworthy! Still praying for you all . – you are not forgotten!
