A happy new week to you. Can you believe that July is half over? Soon, we’ll be buying those school supplies and gearing up for fall, so I plan to embrace this next week of summer for all its worth!!! Our entire family was dispersed last week. Nathan and Abigail were in Covington, LA with World Changers, James was in Kansas City for his first week of classes toward his doctorate, and I was with my mom at my sister’s. We all had a good week, and we’re all glad to be home!
I am praying for each of you as I type this post, asking God to reveal Himself to you in your days this week. Seek Him, my friends, because He will be found by those who seek Him.
” For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Oh Jennifer, I love your sense of humor. I never knew anything about back fat until recently. I’d prefer not to know anything about it either. Yes, summer is flying by way too fast. I return to work at school in less than three weeks. Yikes! We’re still unpacking.

I LOVE Jeremiah 29:11. In fact, I just used it in my blog post last week. We have been anxiously awaiting word on a job Jeff had applied for over 2 months ago & we just found out he got it!! This verse truly helped me hang on…knowing God does indeed have a plan for me 🙂 I also LOVED the saying listed above: Faith in God includes Faith in His timing. Reminded me of a saying my friend’s been telling me, “God’s timing though seldom early, is never late”

What a fun Monday morning post!! You’ve been on my heart. I cannot believe how fast summer is flying by! I love the open summer schedule, but also miss some of the routine the rest of the year brings ~~> and allows for more frequent time to visit with friends. 🙂 Anyhoo… just know you are on my heart Friend! hugs
