Hi friends~
I just wanted to hop on quickly and say that I hope you’re off to a great start of this new year! We are, and have one more day of Christmas vacation left. It’s been a wonderful break. School starts back on Wednesday – but we’re expecting snow on Thursday… and here in middle Tennessee – snow (even an inch or two) means that we all stay home in our PJs, watching family movies and drinking hot chocolate! So it may be a short week. ๐
Today, James worked with Nathan and I worked with Abigail and we cleaned out every one of their drawers, their closets, and all of their “toys” – or whatever you call all of the things that young teenagers “play” with. Our house feels a hundred pounds lighter. My closet is next. Little by little we are getting more ready to move – if that’s what the Lord has for us. We are praying to hear something from someone and be on the way to a job this month. Please pray with and for us about that.
We’ve come to the place in praying about James’ job that all we are asking is that the Lord send us to the place that He knows needs us and the place that we need. That’s all. If He does that, we are confident in Him that everything else will fall into place for our good and for His glory.
On another note, I had the strangest dream last night… It was about many of you! I saw many of you around my kitchen table. Apparently I was hosting a blog-friend weekend get-together, and I was a terrible host!!! I fixed us a huge breakfast casserole and served it – and that’s all I had prepared for the entire weekend. Ug! No fun, and no more food! How dull!!! What in the world does that mean? As bad a host as I was, however, I did awake and pray for every one of you that I saw in my dream. That counts for something, doesn’t it? ๐
I do thank God for each one of you – those of you that I personally know, and those of you I haven’t yet have the privilege of meeting either face to face, or blog to blog. Thanks for taking some of your valuable time and spending it with me on Smelling Coffee.
May the Lord bless you and draw you sweetly nearer to Him this year. He is so Worthy, and walking with Him, even through trials, is worth every step.
Love to each of you~ And for the record, if you were coming over, I promise I’d do a better job of planning fun and food for you than in my crazy dream! (grin)
Have a great week…
Jennifer

Jennifer,
I would have been happy to come and visit even if you would have served donuts! I miss you and am praying for you. I have taken a couple of weeks off the computer and it has been nice but now I plan to be on more. Call or email if you need anything at all.
Love,
Teresa

I've had similar dreams, and in my dreams I never can figure out what to do. I'm still praying for you, and I hope you DO have an answer before January is done! ( :
