Make some of these and give them away: Jelly Bean Prayer Baggies
Take a small ziploc snack baggie and fill it with one or more of each color of Jelly Bean mentioned below. Attach the following poem to the baggie.
This is a fun Easter gift for children to make and give to their friends at school, church, dance, etc. And it’s a fun one to give to adults – using Jellie Bellies or specialty candies instead of the regular jelly beans. It’s also a good “happy” to give to strangers or acquaintances that touch our lives.
As you put this little gift together, think and/or talk about the wonderful truths represented by the different colors of Jelly Beans, and thank our Jesus for giving His life in death so we could live!
A bag full of Jelly Beans – colorful and sweet,
May the joy of Christ’s resurrection fill your heart and bless your life.
For older children or adults, here is an adaptation to each color of Jelly Bean
Red ~ the blood of Jesus that He shed.
