Merry Christmas, friends! I’ve been waiting to say that for almost a year!!! I just love Christmas, and am so glad it is “officially here.” How about you?
I hope you had a thank-filled Thanksgiving weekend. We had a special time with family friends and are so thankful to the Lord for all He is and for all the ways we are blessed through Him.
My brother and his family came for a visit and we were among the thousands who treked to the the Opryland Hotel to make it a part of our Thanksgiving festivities. It is always beautiful this time of year.
And of course, we had to stop for some pictures… 🙂
(My brother, Chris, and his family.)
We were missing my sister, Rebecca, and her family this year. Rebecca is like “Mary” – she is “great with child” and will have a baby boy scheduled to arrive on Dec. 28th. We can’t wait to meet him.
The tree is going up today. (We borrowed a skinny tree from Frappuccino Fun with Amy because our house is on the market, and we couldn’t fill up one end of the room with our big tree!) For years, I’ve wanted to do a tree with only ornaments that point to Jesus – Nativity scenes, and words that bring Him praise. This may be my chance – I probably have enough of those favorites to fill a skinny tree. I’ll post a picture if that’s what we end up doing. 🙂
Blessings to each of you, my friends. Happy Monday to you all…
Jennifer
