Dear friends… let’s just pretend that this came to you through the real mail. OK? Remember, we’re having a Simple Christmas this year. 😉
We do rejoice that Jesus has come to the world! May each of us receive Him as King. And if we do, just bask in a bit of Psalm 103 and see a glimpse of what God gives us through His Gift of Jesus, and let’s bless and gratefully praise His name!!!
BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!
Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits–
Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;
Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!
Psalm 103:1-5 (Amp)
Isn’t that wonderful? The above, plus so much more, is ours just for the taking and unwrapping. Will you receive God’s gift of forgiveness, healing, redemption, beauty, satisfaction, and renewal this Christmas?
May God bless you and keep you, my friends. Merry Christmas!

Jennifer, you are doing a great job and I admire you greatly.
It is hard to grasp that so many years have evaporated since
I last saw you. Abigail was just a baby! How is your mother?
I am teaching a Sunday School class for senior adult ladies at
First Baptist Donelson. I missed you when you were there last
year because I was out of town.
Keep up the good work with your blog!

Hi Reba~ thank you so much for getting in touch – and for your sweet encouraging words!! I’m sure your SS class ladies love you teaching them. 🙂 My mom is doing well. We live about 75 miles away from her now, so we see her often, which is a blessing to us both.
God bless you, Reba. ❤️
