Hi everyone~ It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around my town (and even around my house… we began putting up the Christmas tree this weekend… Yippee!!!). We had our town’s annual Holiday Open House and first annual lighting of the town’s Christmas tree yesterday – and it literally felt like we were in a scene from a Hallmark movie. I love this time of year and the unique activities that surround it.
But we all know that the open houses and Christmas trees and gift buying and holiday lights aren’t the real reason for the Christmas season. We know it, but how do we keep this truth foremost in our hearts and calendars in the days to come? There is one holiday preparation we can do that will make all the difference in the world in how we navigate these days between now and the new year.
