Happy Monday~ And, to all of you in WC, IT’S FALL BREAK!!!!! Yoohooooooooo!!!!! (So sorry to everyone else!) 🙂
It’s Sunday night and I’m writing this post now, because we have lots on the Fall Break plate for tomorrow. Exciting things – like cleaning out closets… I’m ready for bed, but wanted to get a little something about the weekend in writing before the week begins.
My mom, daughter, and I just returned from traveling to three states in three days – and I drove most of the way. (For anyone who knows me personally, that is a HUGE deal!… I hate to drive, and would rather have someone drive me somewhere than clean my house!) But the trip was well worth it!
We left Nashville Friday morning and headed to my sister’s house in Alabaster, Alabama. She has the most precious little girls, and they were a delight to spend time with.
Isn’t she darling???!
On Saturday night, I spoke at a Women’s Event at First Baptist Church, there in Alabaster, and my sister led the worship. It was such a special time. The ladies of the church were so gracious and it was a pleasure to get to serve them. They prayed and worked hard to produce a beautiful event that set the stage for the Lord to do a mighty work, and that’s just what He did. It was a blessing to be a part of His work this weekend.
My sister, Rebecca (and me).
We left Alabama this morning and drove to Tupelo, Mississippi to see my brother’s family and their brand new baby, Ella Kate. She is truly a tiny living doll! I have pictures, but they are in my phone camera and I’ll have to download those tomorrow. We had a too short visit with them, then got back in the van and made our way back to Tennessee.
Three generations in three states in three days! Lots of memories were made this weekend as we enjoyed each other’s company, served the Lord and His ladies together, and as I officially logged the most miles I’ve ever driven on one trip in my entire lifetime! The Lord was so faithful to us this weekend, and we had a blast on our generational road trip with Him!
I’ll try to post a few more pictures for Tuesday. Much love to each one of you… Jennifer
