Since today is “Recipe Day” in the blogosphere, I’m thrilled to bring back a FAVORITE, easy recipe to share with you. It’s from an old “Frappuccino Fun with Amy” post – and, btw, I’m still hoping to convince her to start writing here again soon! She has great ideas~ and this is one of her “classics”. Anyone who knows Amy, knows her Fall Mix, and her giving heart.
She writes: “One of my love languages is giving. I enjoy bringing unexpected treats to un-expecting people – whether it’s my children’s teachers, neighbors, or friends. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like to receive a gift “for no reason at all”. Last week, I made one of my favorite snack mixes and I’d like to share it with you, it’s always a big hit at this time of year! I like to call it – “FALL MIX”.”
Amy’s Fall Mix
Just mix the ingredients together in a big bowl:
1-2 Bags Candy Corn or Autumn Mix
1 Bag Indulgent Trail Mix (WalMart)
1-2 Bags M & M’s (Halloween Colors, Plain or Peanut) [Jennifer here: If I can’t find those, I just pull the blue M&Ms out of the “regular” bag.]
1 Can Toffee Peanuts (Dollar General Store or DG Market)
1 Can Mix Nuts or Peanuts (Salted)
1 Box Sugar Babies
For around $15 you can be a blessing to many people this season! Be aware that this mix can become addictive….”

PLEASE DISREGUARD THAT LAST COMMENT! It's my brother – who has a very funny wit! Don't listen to him about the peeled boiled shrimp. He usually doesn't peel it. (ha ha!)
Chris C says
We like to make it and add the following: Crunch 'N Munch, chocolate chips, raisins, and peeled boiled shrimp. Oh yea, and malt balls.

Yum! And so pretty. I haven't had sugar babies in forever. Well, I do have ONE sugar baby right now 🙂 I think of you often, just don't have much chance at the computer. I'm remembering you and your family. Any employment news?
