I’m craving fall, y’all. Who’s with me? But it’s still SO HOT!!!!! Fall = cuter clothes… scarves… boots… jeans… pumpkin spice everything… reds, golds, warm cinnamon everything… and Amy’s Fall Mix! But it’s not time yet. Almost, but not yet. Call me crazy, but I just can’t let myself concoct a big batch of that amazing Fall Mix until September. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’ll definitely want to click here.)
However, the other day I needed to take something to a meeting for us to snack on, and as I was standing in front of the main ingredient in the “Fall Mix” pining after the deliciousness, the Lord gave me an idea for a quick and easy substitute to hold me over. And y’all… it was GOOD!!! And it only took 3 ingredients! It wasn’t as fancy or pretty as the Fall Mix, but it was just as addictive, and would make the cutest of Back to School gifts for teachers and friends or coworkers.
So, I named it “Back to School Batch” 🙂
The 3 Ingredients?
Sam’s Choice Peanut Butter Trail Mix (1 bag. This comes from Walmart)
Reese’s Pieces (1 bag)
M&M’s (1 bag)
The easy instructions?
Toss together in a bowl & enjoy. Or share so others and bless them with the yumminess.
Then hang on just a few more weeks…And soon pumpkin spice everything and Amy’s Fall Mix will be right around the corner. Yay!!! 😉
I want to leave you with an encouraging Truth from the Word to “snack on” today – it’s beautiful and heart filling:
The Lord is my strength and my impenetrable shield;
My heart trusts with unwavering confidence in Him,
and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I shall thank Him an praise Him.
Psalm 28:7 (Amp)
Have a blessed day, my friends.
