Sometimes we need a gentle reminder not to give up as we continue plead before the Lord on behalf of ourselves, others, and difficult situations. If you need some encouragement today, tenderly read what God’s Word tells us about praying without giving up. Then keep praying, my friends. Don’t. Give. Up. God hasn’t.
“This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am ready to hear Israel’s prayers and to increase their numbers like a flock.” Ezekiel 36:37 NLT
“You do not have because you do not ask.” James 4:2 HSCB
“Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 AMP
“And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John 5:14-15 NLT
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” Luke 18:1 NIV
“The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help… The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.” Psalm 34:15, 17 NLT
At that time you will ask (pray) in My Name; and I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf [for it will be unnecessary]. For the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from the Father.” John 16:26-27 AMP
“This is what I want you to do: Ask the Father for whatever is in keeping with the things I’ve revealed to you. Ask in my name, according to my will, and he’ll most certainly give it to you. Your joy will be a river overflowing its banks!” John 16:23-24 MSG

Please pray that God will protect my military career and let me serve 3 more years. I’ve served 17 years & only need 3 more years to retire. Pray that me & my family can move to our next base soon. Also, pray that I can have promotion to Technical Sergeant.
